The Most Important Habit for Vibrant Health

"The major element in eradicating disease from society has been changing our lifestyle habits. Glaring examples exist. Medical doctors who learned to wash their hands (circa 1850) with soap and water before each examination of a new mother caused disease rates among newborn babies to plummet. " From "The People's Chemist", By Shane Ellison, M.Sc.

WOW! - A simple thing like washing hands saves lives. Add natural anti-bacterial and anti-fungal essential oils for added good health. See, I told you this is a very important hobby!!!

Announcing the new HSMG Lye Calculator!

There is a non-member version of the HSMG Lye Calculator available in the "Industry" section of the Handcrafted Soapmaker's Guild website. It doesn't allow for specification of an exact SAP value and a few other things, but it's still a great lye calculator. It's available to anyone who wants to use it.
