Norwich Advanced Soapmaking Class Coming Up!
This coming Saturday same time, same place at the Norwich Chenango BOCES campus as we were for yesterday's beginner class. It was a great day with 17 students going home with their unique creations of a successful batch of 30 bars. Everything You Need to Know You Learned in Soapmaking Class
We share nicely! My advanced classes are set up to split your 30 bar batch into 3 molds. You keep one of 10 bars and get to pick two other students' soap. This allows each student to go home with 3 different kinds of 10 bars each. During my Sunday home advanced class, we all split our batch in two then enriched and scented about 15 bars of each kind. When you attend with a friend, you can each enjoy four or more kinds. Whew hew! Never enough kinds of healthy soap. Have a great Easter! xo Ri

Coming Up Roses
Think I'll join my class today and split a batch of goat's milk soap of Rose Petals and Rosewood essential oil. The Rosewood half will be enriched with Shea butter, avocado oil, kelp and red clay. The Rose Petals half will be natural with ground oatmeal. Both excellent facial bars full of glycerin and nutrients for soft and smooth skin. I'm so addicted. Have a soapy day!

Where Does the Time Go?
Wow, this week flew by. Cortland Beginner Soapmaking was a great time with very creative students. Students had options in making their traditional soap by adding oatmeal, cinnamon, lemon balm or purple or pink color. They could scent it with Lemongrass, Cinnamon or Lavender essential oils plus a fragrance called Firewood. It is always fun watching their expressions when I do the soap to lotion demo. If you are interested in an Advanced and Master Soapmaking class at the Cortland OCMBOCES facility, just contact them asap. The class is plugging via evaluation forms for a weeknight class from 6-9 pm. Don't forget the Accupressure FaceLift Class today! Hope to see you. xo Ria
